Degen: DEGEN Has Become the Default Token for Farcaster Mini-Apps

Odaily Planet Daily reported that Degen posted on X, stating that if developers are building mini-programs for Farcaster, they will notice that DEGEN has become the default token. This choice was made because DEGEN is more appealing to the community compared to USDC or WETH. In addition, Degen revealed that over $100 million worth of DEGEN tokens were airdropped to Farcaster users last year, and further support will continue to expand.
