According to official sources cited by Jinse Finance, GoPlus has issued a security alert stating that the lending protocol Venus Protocol on a certain exchange appears to have been attacked, resulting in losses of approximately $2 million. The stolen assets include a large amount of vTokens (such as vUSDT). The cause of the attack is related to MEV and permission management vulnerabilities.
