Ethereum Pushes Higher, But Can It Hold?

Ethereum’s price is making moves again—slowly but surely. After hovering around the $2,420 mark, ETH managed to climb past $2,450 and even briefly touched $2,523 earlier today. That’s not a massive jump, but it’s something. Right now, it’s sitting comfortably above $2,480, and traders seem cautiously optimistic.

The thing is, though, crypto never moves in a straight line. Even with this uptick, there’s no guarantee it’ll stick. The market’s been unpredictable lately, and Ethereum’s no exception. Still, the fact that it’s holding above the 100-hour moving average is a decent sign.

Where’s the Resistance?

If ETH keeps its footing, the next test is around $2,520. That’s where sellers might step in, and if they do, we could see another pullback. But if it breaks through? Then $2,550 becomes the next target, followed by $2,580. Some are even whispering about $2,650 if the momentum holds—though that feels a bit optimistic right now.

There’s also a bullish trend line forming around $2,440, which could act as a safety net if things wobble. If that support cracks, though, things could get messy.

What If the Rally Fizzles?

Let’s be real—this isn’t a one-way street. If ETH can’t push past $2,520, we might see a dip back toward $2,460 or even $2,440. And if *that* doesn’t hold? Well, $2,400 is the next stop, with $2,350 lurking further down.

The MACD’s looking bullish at the moment, and the RSI is above 50, which usually means there’s room to run. But indicators aren’t everything. Market sentiment shifts fast, especially with Bitcoin’s moves influencing everything else.

For now, Ethereum’s in a waiting game. It’s got room to climb, but one bad day could undo this progress. As always, it’s worth keeping an eye on.
