Report: Losses from Cryptocurrency Hacks in June Reach $111.6 Million, Down 56% from Previous Month
According to Odaily Planet Daily, citing a PeckShield Alert report, approximately 15 major cryptocurrency hacking incidents were recorded in June 2025, with total losses reaching $111.6 million, representing a 56% decrease compared to May. The most significant loss was suffered by the Iranian exchange Nobitex, which was attacked by hackers linked to Israel, resulting in a loss of about $82 million. Other major incidents included ResupplyFi losing $9.6 million, ALEXLabBTC losing $8.4 million, ForceBridge losing $3.8 million, and a Solana user being robbed of $3.2 million. These incidents constituted the main security threats in the cryptocurrency sector for June.
