SlowMist CISO: Security firm Koi reveals over 40 fake crypto wallet extensions found in the official Firefox browser add-on store

According to Jinse Finance, 23pds, Chief Information Security Officer at SlowMist Technology, tweeted that security firm Koi has revealed that the official Firefox browser extension store has over 40 counterfeit crypto wallet extensions, imitating mainstream wallets such as MetaMask and certain exchange wallets. These malicious plugins steal mnemonic phrases by embedding event-listening code and transmit the data back to the attackers' servers.
