Ancient whale dormant for 14 years controls around 8 wallets, holding at least 80,000 BTC
Foresight News reports, according to monitoring by Lookonchain, an early Bitcoin user holding at least 80,009 BTC (approximately $8.69 billion) transferred 40,000 BTC (about $4.35 billion) today after more than 14 years of inactivity. This early user controls around eight wallets, two of which received 20,000 BTC on April 2, 2011 (then worth $15,600, now valued at about $2.18 billion), when the price of Bitcoin was around $0.78.
