Musk Says Breaking the Two-Party Monopoly Is Not Difficult
On July 6, according to multiple major U.S. media outlets, Elon Musk is reportedly planning an initiative that could reshape the American political landscape. He is said to be pushing for the creation of a new political party called the "American Party." Unlike the traditional nationwide approach of third parties, Musk plans to focus his efforts on securing 2 to 3 Senate seats and 8 to 10 House seats, specifically targeting key swing districts where the outcome is extremely close. Leveraging the influence of the X platform, his existing Political Action Committee (PAC), and strong grassroots mobilization capabilities, Musk can quickly launch polls, crowdsource signatures, and organize candidates. Regarding the topic of breaking the two-party monopoly, Musk commented, "To be honest, it's not that hard."
