According to Foresight News, a certain exchange reported that Bitcoin core developer Jon Atack was briefly detained in El Salvador due to a property dispute with a neighbor, but was quickly released, with his phone and passport returned. Jon Atack's neighbor accused him of assaulting a woman, which, under El Salvador's 2012 law, constitutes a criminal offense.
