World Gold Council: Global Gold ETFs Saw $38 Billion Inflows and Holdings Increased by 397 Tons in the First Half of the Year
Odaily Planet Daily News: According to a report by the World Gold Council, driven by a strong performance in June (+$7.6 billion), global gold ETFs saw an increase of $38 billion in the first half of the year. During this period, the total assets under management of these funds surged by 41% to $383 billion, with total holdings rising by 397 tons to reach 3,616 tons. North America (+$21 billion) was the main region for inflows in the first half of the year, followed by Asia (+$11 billion) and Europe (+$6 billion). The average daily trading volume of gold in the first half of the year reached $329 billion, setting a new semi-annual record. (Jin10)
