Crypto scammer Nicholas Truglia sentenced to 12 more years for refusing to pay $20 million in restitution
According to Jinse Finance, Nicholas Truglia, who was previously sentenced to 18 months in prison for stealing $20 million in crypto assets through a SIM swap scam, has now been sentenced to an additional 12 years in prison for failing to pay restitution to his victims. Court documents reveal that not only did Truglia fail to fulfill his restitution obligations, but he also spent nearly $92,000 on luxury goods. The judge noted that he deliberately attempted to evade legal responsibility.
