Israeli Official: Significant Progress Made in Gaza Ceasefire Talks

According to Jinse Finance, citing CCTV News, a senior Israeli official stated that after mediators submitted the latest version of a ceasefire agreement proposal to both Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), significant progress has been made in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations. Prime Minister Netanyahu has approved the Israeli negotiating team to move forward on several issues. Reportedly, Israel has revised its military deployment plan for the proposed ceasefire period, with the Israeli military set to withdraw from the "Morag Military Corridor." At the same time, Israel will establish a 1.5-kilometer-wide buffer zone along the Egypt-Gaza border and set up approximately 1-kilometer-wide security zones in other areas of Gaza near the border.
