Consensys plans to lay off 49 employees, accounting for approximately 7% of its total workforce
According to a report by Jinse Finance citing Bloomberg, Consensys, the software company founded by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, is planning to lay off 49 employees, accounting for about 7% of its total workforce. A company spokesperson stated that this restructuring aims to enhance overall profitability. Consensys recently acquired a startup with around 30 employees, who will remain with the company. At the same time, the company still plans to continue hiring for other positions. Consensys’s largest office is located in Brooklyn.
