Tether CEO: Tether Ready to Operate in the US Market, Will Target Institutional Clients
According to Jinse Finance, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that Tether is ready to operate in the US market. A week ago, President Donald Trump signed the GENIUS Act, which regulates stablecoins in the United States and publicly thanked Ardoino for his contributions in the bill. Ardoino said, "We are formulating an internal strategy for the US and plan to announce it within the next two months." The new US stablecoin will target the institutional market. Ardoino reiterated that Tether has no intention of going public like one of its US competitors, a certain exchange.
