US Commerce Secretary: Further Discussions with the EU on Agreement Details
According to a report by Jinse Finance, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo stated that there are still many issues to be negotiated in the U.S.-EU trade agreement, noting that "there is still considerable room for further discussion." In an interview on Tuesday, when asked whether negotiations with EU Commission trade officials would continue, Raimondo said, "Absolutely. They even called this morning to discuss other topics, such as digital services, taxation, and the EU's actions against U.S. tech companies—all of these will be on the negotiating table." She added, "There are also some items they want to include in the agreement, such as steel and aluminum products, which were not covered this time and will be part of the upcoming negotiations."
