Publicly Listed 180 Life Sciences Plans $425 Million Private Placement to Establish ETH Treasury
According to ChainCatcher, as reported by PR Newswire, Nasdaq-listed company 180 Life Sciences has announced plans to raise approximately $425 million through private equity financing. The funds raised will be used to establish an Ethereum treasury, and upon completion of the transaction, the company will be renamed ETHZilla Corporation.
It is reported that the investors in this transaction include Harbour Island, Electric Capital, Polychain Capital, GSR, Omicron Technologies, Konstantin Lomashuk (co-founder of Lido and p2p.org), Sreeram Kannan (founder of Eigenlayer), Mike Silagadze (founder of Ether.fi), Danny Ryan (co-founder of Etherealize), Vivek Raman (co-founder of Etherealize), Sam Kazemanian (co-founder of Frax), Grant Hummer (co-founder of Etherealize), Robert Leshner (founder of Compound and Superstate), Tarun Chitra (founder of Gauntlet), among others.
