During its annual product event on Tuesday, Apple introduced three updated Apple Watch models: the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3.
Apple Watch Series 11
With the Apple Watch Series 11, users can receive notifications about potential high blood pressure. The device relies on its optical heart sensor to monitor your blood vessels’ reactions to your heartbeat and checks for persistent hypertension. Its built-in algorithm reviews your data every 30 days and will send an alert if it detects a regular pattern indicating elevated blood pressure.
Apple estimates that it will notify more than one million people of undetected hypertension in the first year alone. Hypertension alerts will also be available for Apple Watch Series 9 and 10, not just Series 11.

Series 11 also helps track your sleep quality and offers guidance for better rest. The new Sleep Score feature takes into account factors such as how long you sleep, bedtime habits, regularity, how frequently you wake up, and the duration of each sleep phase.
The Series 11 is the first to feature 5G, which extends coverage and improves efficiency compared to the existing LTE options. It also consumes less power.
With up to 24 hours of battery life, the Apple Watch Series 11 is available in Jet Black, Silver, Rose Gold, and the new Space Gray, starting at $399.
Apple Watch Ultra 3
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 debuts with a larger display and introduces satellite connectivity. Like Series 11, it supports 5G and offers hypertension notifications.
Marking a first for Apple Watches, the Ultra 3’s satellite feature enables emergency communication in areas without cellular service. Users can also send texts and share their location using Find My, thanks to satellite support.

Satellite service can be used when Wi-Fi and cellular are down, allowing users to reach emergency services or send texts even without a network connection.
Battery life on the Ultra 3 lasts up to 42 hours, or up to 72 hours when using low power mode.
It features LTPO3 and wide-angle OLED technology, providing the biggest and brightest display among Apple Watches, especially when viewed from different angles. The TPO3 display tech also reduces the border thickness by 24%, according to Apple.
The Ultra 3 is available in Black and Natural Titanium finishes, starting from $799.
Apple Watch SE 3
Apple’s new Watch SE 3 comes with an upgraded display and the faster S10 chip, offering significant performance gains over the S8 chip found in the previous SE 2.

This new chip allows for an always-on display, a first for the SE line. Gesture features such as double-tap and wrist flick are also supported.
The S10 enables the SE 3 to achieve an 18-hour all-day battery and, for the first time, introduces fast charging on the SE. It also includes wrist temperature monitoring, which supports retrospective ovulation tracking and offers more data within the vitals app.
Apple Watch SE 3 starts at $249, offered in 40 mm and 44 mm sizes with Midnight and Starlight aluminum cases available.
