U.S. stock market opens: Dow Jones up 0.03%, Tesla up 6.74%
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.03%, the S&P 500 Index increased by 0.34%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index climbed by 0.45%. Tesla (TSLA.O) surged by 6.74%, as Elon Musk spent about $1 billion last Friday to purchase over 2.5 million shares of the company’s stock. Nvidia (NVDA.O) fell by 1.32%, while Oracle (ORCL.N) rose by 4.12%.
