Joseph Lubin: The first season of the MetaMask on-chain rewards program may exceed $30 million in scale, but it has not been officially launched yet.
Jinse Finance reported that Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin posted on the X platform, stating that MetaMask rewards have been a hot topic in the community. Currently, the rewards are still in the early conceptual prototype stage and have not yet been officially launched. In the first season, rewards worth over $30 million may be distributed to users in various forms, including LINEA tokens to support on-chain activities. Starting from Linea, the rewards will expand to MetaMask and will soon extend to DIN (Infura's decentralized infrastructure project), and possibly more. In addition, for long-time users, apart from the first season rewards, they can also seek returns in the upcoming MetaMask TGE event.
