A North Carolina woman is facing felony charges for allegedly carrying out fraudulent schemes to extract $300,000 from Wells Fargo and PNC Bank.

Authorities from the Raleigh Police Department have arrested Regina Marie Jenkins on two separate charges, reports The North Carolina Beat.

She’s charged with obtaining property by false pretenses for allegedly defrauding Wells Fargo out of $83,119.90 back on March 28th.

The warrant says that she opened business checking accounts with the purpose of committing debit card fraud by depositing cash and linking and delinking various debit cards between each account.

Jenkins is also facing a conspiracy charge for her alleged involvement in a $217,000 fraudulent scheme that targeted PNC Bank. The warrant says that on June 15th, she conspired with several other individuals to commit the felony offense of obtaining property by false pretenses.

She allegedly executed the fraudulent act with nine co-conspirators named as Alaysa Sharpe, Terrence Johnson, Jaquan Rick, Segoia Wiggins, Maliki Parker, Martavious Avent, Talvious Jenkins, Jazmin Hicks and Brianna Johnson.

Jenkins posted a bond of $10,000 for each of the charges, allowing her to walk out of jail shortly after her arrest. Court records show that she had her first court appearance at the Wake Co. Justice Center on October 3rd.
