ARK Invest's funds hold approximately $10 million worth of Securitize shares
According to ChainCatcher, citing CoinDesk, ARK Invest holds approximately 3.25% of Securitize through the ARK Venture Fund. Based on the fund's net asset value of $32.53 billions as of September 30, the investment is about $10 millions, making it the fund's eighth largest holding.
Securitize was founded in 2017 and has issued $4.6 billions in tokenized assets. Its partners include BlackRock, Hamilton Lane, and Apollo, and it has issued BlackRock's tokenized money market fund BUIDL (with a scale of $2.8 billions). The tokenization market has grown by 112% this year to $33 billions, and it is expected to reach $18.9 trillions by 2033.
