Citi: Core inflation expected to cool in September
Jinse Finance reported that Citi economists expect the core CPI to rise by 0.28% in September, lower than August's 0.35%. A government shutdown may delay the release of data, but Citi stated that a weakening labor market and cooling housing prices have reduced the risk of persistent inflation.
