OpenAI promotes "Sign in with ChatGPT" feature to enterprises
According to a report by Jinse Finance, an article from The Information on the 16th stated that OpenAI is pitching to enterprises, hoping they will add a "Log in with ChatGPT" option to their websites, similar to logging in with Google or Facebook. Companies that agree can pass on the cost of using OpenAI models to their customers. According to a person involved in the discussions, startups using OpenAI models can leverage this approach to shift the API fees that would otherwise be paid directly to OpenAI onto their customers. Specifically, the fees would be deducted from the customers' ChatGPT usage quota instead of being borne by the startups themselves.
