Treasury Secretary Scott Besant confirmed the five final candidates to succeed Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell: Christopher Waller, Michelle Bowman, Kevin Warsh, Kevin Hassett, and Rick Rieder.
Besant will conduct a new round of interviews and plans to submit the final list to President Trump after Thanksgiving, with a decision expected by the end of the year.
