U.S. stocks open higher, Apple hits record high with a 2% increase

Apple shares rose 2%, reaching a new all-time high, with fourth-quarter revenue hitting a record for the same period and an optimistic outlook for the next fiscal quarter. Amazon rose 12%, and Nvidia rose 1.7%.
