OpenAI is reportedly considering a deal with SpaceX to compete with the rocket company.
according to The Wall Street Journal, OpenAI founder Sam Altman has repeatedly expressed his intention to build data centers in space. Sources say Altman has explored acquisition or cooperation deals with a rocket company, a move that would put him in competition with Elon Musk's SpaceX.
It is reported that OpenAI has been negotiating potential deals for several months, but recently talks between OpenAI and the rocket company have become inactive.
