Bloomberg predicts Hong Kong will allow retail investors to trade cryptocurrency

According to Bloomberg , the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission will detail the conclusions of a consultation on retail participation in
crypto trading at a briefing on Tuesday . Bloomberg expects Hong Kong to announce that retail investors will be able to trade cryptocurrencies under new rules for the digital asset industry , with individual investors expected to trade more Token , such as BTC and ETH , with appropriate safeguards starting next month . The announcement comes after the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission said in a consultation paper on Feb . 20 that it would allow individual investors to trade large -cap Token on SFC -licensed trading platforms , provided safeguards such as knowledge tests , risk tolerance assessments and reasonable exposure limits are in place .
