What Is AI Network (AIN)?
AI Network is a decentralized AI development ecosystem that aims to make AI accessible to everyone. It gathers developers, GPUs, development resources, and creator-based data in one place, representing the future of collaborative AI. The network provides access to large-scale AI through decentralized GPU resources and a layer1 blockchain infrastructure supported by the Runo NFT. Developers can access and benefit from these GPU resources through voting via AIN DAO members.
How AI Network (AIN) Works
The AI Network Blockchain is designed to provide secure access to computers connected to the network, aiming to form a serverless computing architecture by utilizing accessible computers. It has three main requirements: the capability to process any general programming language, hosting of various cloud types from mobile phones to supercomputers, and real-time response to transactions via asynchronous execution. The network aims to support millions of open source projects by operating different types of software on the most suitable runtime environment, such as high-performance GPUs for deep learning or millions of small computers for sensor networks. Unlike Ethereum, which supports only Solidity and EVM, AI Network runs various languages on different runtime environments referred to as Secure Runtime Environments (SRE). Instead of a native smart contract language, AI Network's workers in resource pools listen to blockchain events to participate in the execution, narrowing the blockchain's responsibility to propagating real-time events and recording the life cycle of executions.
The AI Network token is designed to make computational costs more measurable by maintaining stability during the execution of services through the reservation of computational power for a specific duration of time. AIN token holders can use their tokens to access valuable backend services with a high degree of certainty, although the value of one AIN may fluctuate along with the total computing power and solutions in the network. However, the token's volatility should be minimal due to contracts holding a significant amount of total AIN at any time, allowing AIN holders to trust the token's ability to preserve value for processing agreed numbers of requests offered by the resource provider.
