Storj is a blockchain specifically designed for decentralized cloud storage. It claims to be "ridiculously resilient" with blazing performance and great security. Storj's whitepaper was released by Storj Labs in 2014, and it was officially launched in 2018. Since then it has grown to work with institutions like the Internet Archive and the University of Edinburgh.
