PANews reported on March 31 that the Google Quantum AI team pointed out in their latest blog post that most blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies rely on the vulnerable ECDLP-256 protocol. Although viable solutions such as Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) already exist, implementation will take time and there is increasing urgency to act. Google previously set a 2029 timeline for post-quantum cryptography migration and is advancing related work in cooperation with an exchange, the Stanford Blockchain Research Center, the Ethereum Foundation, and other organizations.

Foresight News reported that Ripple Prime announced the expansion of its integration with Hyperliquid, adding support for HIP-3 tokens. Institutional users can now access on-chain perpetual contracts for traditional assets such as gold, silver, and oil through the platform. With this expansion, Ripple Prime aims to provide institutions with a unified margin framework, enabling them to gain exposure to both traditional financial assets and decentralized financial infrastructure within their existing portfolios.
