- 18:33SynFutures to Launch L1 Upgrade, Mainnet Beta Testing to Start in OctoberForesight News reported that the on-chain derivatives protocol SynFutures announced today the launch of a major protocol upgrade, introducing an underlying chain upgrade with block times as low as 5 milliseconds. In the next phase, the protocol will focus on building a new generation of derivatives infrastructure that combines a top-tier trading experience with the open spirit of DeFi. This upgrade centers on three core aspects: millisecond-level execution speed, institutional-grade liquidity depth, and the transparency of fully on-chain settlement. Since its launch in 2021, SynFutures has accumulated over $300 billions in trading volume. This upgrade will be powered by a brand-new high-performance modular engine, enabling single-digit millisecond order execution while maintaining full on-chain transparency, and integrating institutional-grade liquidity to support large trades. To uphold the core philosophy of "trader-first, zero compromise," the protocol will also undergo a brand upgrade. SynFutures will launch internal testing in October, working closely with core partners to refine the infrastructure and prepare for a full rollout. The protocol emphasizes that the community will be at the heart of the upgrade process, and a series of events will be launched in the future to invite traders to participate in building together.
