This restart comes nearly four years after it was banned from operating by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and follows its acquisition of the CFTC-licensed exchange QCXLLC for $112 million. The company has begun self-certifying event contracts, including those for sports events and election markets.
