Senator: Senate will not pass crypto bill without ethical provisions
Odaily reported that Senator Kirsten Gillibrand stated at the Consensus conference that without ethical provisions in the crypto market structure legislation, the bill would not be able to get enough votes to pass. Gillibrand emphasized that members of Congress, senior government officials, and the President and Vice President must be prohibited from profiting in the crypto industry by exploiting their insider positions. Multiple Democratic senators are currently concerned about US President Trump and his family's crypto connections. Bloomberg estimates Trump has profited at least 1.4 billion USD from crypto venture investments. Previously, the bill stalled in the Senate due to stablecoin reward handling issues, but a compromise has been reached. Now, ethical provisions have become the new obstacle. Gillibrand said she is working with the White House and both parties to ensure the relevant content is included, and is pushing to add consumer protection and anti-terrorism financing clauses. The bill is expected to pass before the August recess.

Eagle Nuclear Energy has officially launched the pre-drilling environmental baseline study for its Aurora Uranium Project.
This key step marks an important move for the project into the actual exploration phase. The environmental baseline study aims to systematically assess the ecological condition of the project area prior to development, providing a scientific foundation and environmental protection benchmark for subsequent drilling activities. Such studies typically include comprehensive monitoring and data collection of environmental factors such as local water quality, soil, vegetation, and wildlife. The advancement of this project comes amid the continued global increase in demand for clean energy, with uranium’s strategic significance as a vital raw material for nuclear power generation becoming increasingly prominent. The environmental study initiated by Eagle Nuclear Energy is not only in accordance with standard mineral development procedures, but also demonstrates the company's emphasis on sustainable development principles.
