Carnival Cruise Line: Iran conflict impacts bookings, lowers performance expectations
In the previous fiscal quarter, the cruise booking business was hit hardest in Europe, with Mediterranean routes particularly affected. The company’s CEO stated that the strong travel demand and consumer spending power across all routes under the group have, to some extent, offset the negative business impact brought by geopolitical conflicts. Looking ahead, as international oil prices have recently declined, Carnival expects fuel expenses for the remaining operating period in 2026 to decrease slightly.
