U.S. medical discount service provider GoodRx Holdings, Inc. recently announced the launch of an innovative subsidy program for self-insured employers.
Through this program, companies can reimburse employees for part of the cost of Eli Lilly's weight loss injection pen, Zepbound Kwikpen, allowing patients to pay an amount close to the $449 discounted price listed on the GoodRx platform. This initiative will help self-insured employers control healthcare costs while providing employees with more affordable weight loss treatment options. Zepbound, a new GLP-1 receptor agonist launched by Eli Lilly, typically has a standard market retail price of over $1,000, but through GoodRx's subsidy mechanism, employees' out-of-pocket expenses will be significantly reduced. Industry analysts point out that this move is expected to increase GoodRx's market share in the corporate health benefits sector, while also providing Eli Lilly with a new path to expand Zepbound's market penetration. Currently, this subsidy program is open for applications from self-insured employers nationwide, and companies can flexibly set subsidy amounts based on employee needs.

According to the latest filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nuvve Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: NVVE) has officially obtained the exclusive rights to provide energy aggregation and consulting services for the Omnia project in Europe.
This strategic partnership marks a critical step for Nuvve in advancing the energy transition in Europe. Its patented vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology is expected to provide flexible balancing services to the grid by aggregating distributed energy resources. The scope of this exclusive agreement spans multiple European countries and covers not only energy market aggregation operations, but also includes professional services such as project feasibility analysis, customized technical solutions, and compliance consulting. By integrating Omnia project's clean energy assets, Nuvve will strengthen its central position within the European virtual power plant ecosystem, creating higher-value synergies for commercial users and grid operators. The exclusive rights obtained by Nuvve are expected to lay an important foundation for its expansion into the European energy services market and further consolidate its global competitiveness as a clean energy technology provider.
