Smart ring manufacturer Oura secretly files for IPO in the US
Over the past two fiscal years, Oura’s total revenue has quadrupled, with the company continually reinvesting gross profit into business expansion. Market analysts point out that investors show strong interest in Oura due to its sustainable recurring revenue and a clear path to profitability. Founded just over a decade ago in Finland, the company has now sold more than 5.5 million smart rings worldwide, with products available in over 4,600 retail outlets globally. The Oura Ring is primarily used for monitoring sleep, daily activity, and other health metrics, offering personalized health insights and guidance. Earlier this year, Oura announced its role as the official wearable device partner for Team USA and both the Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games, supporting athletes with training, recovery, and health monitoring solutions.
