Late in the European session on Thursday (June 25), the yield on the UK 10-year government bond rose by 1.6 basis points to 4.699%.The 2-year UK gilt yield fell by 1.4 basis points, closing at 4.115%. The 30-year UK gilt yield rose by 2.6 basis points, while the 50-year UK gilt yield increased by 1.0 basis point. The yield spread between 2-year and 10-year UK gilts widened by 3.268 basis points, reaching +58.464 basis points, with an overall upward trend.
