Kpler: Two dry bulk carriers passed through the Strait of Hormuz on ThursdayGolden Ten Data reported on April 24 that trade analytics company Kpler stated two dry bulk carriers passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday. According to Kpler data analyst Rebecca Geddes, one of the vessels, named "Tema Express," is owned and operated by the German Hapag-Lloyd company. This marks the first time since the outbreak of the conflict that a vessel operated by a German shipping company has transited the strait. The "Tema Express," flying the Liberian flag, reappeared in the waters near Oman after nearly three weeks of signal loss. Another vessel crossing the strait, "LB Energy," is registered under the Panamanian flag. Due to carriers’ ongoing security concerns, traffic through the strait remains very limited.
