Ford Motor Company is recalling certain vehicles in the US market due to the possibility that these vehicles may fail to emit necessary warning sounds.
When a vehicle approaches a pedestrian, the absence of effective auditory warnings may prevent timely alerts to pedestrians, thereby increasing the risk of collisions and pedestrian injuries. This recall campaign was announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Vehicles operating at low speeds typically rely on warning sounds to alert nearby pedestrians, especially when electric or hybrid vehicles run in silent mode. The recalled vehicles are affected because their relevant systems may fail to operate as designed, resulting in missing warning sounds and non-compliance with safety standards. Ford stated that it will notify affected owners and arrange free repair services to address this potential safety concern. Owners can contact their local authorized dealer for more information and to schedule inspections.

TotalEnergies reportedly offers Iraqi oil to Asian buyers.
Golden Ten Data reported on July 3 that, according to traders, French oil giant TotalEnergies is supplying millions of barrels of Iraqi crude oil to the Asian market, available for rapid delivery, further exacerbating the market's supply glut. TotalEnergies' supply is expected to accelerate Iraq's oil exports. Following improvements in shipping conditions in the Strait of Hormuz, Iraq has lagged other Persian Gulf oil-producing countries in crude oil exports. According to traders who received offers, TotalEnergies is marketing Basra Medium and Basra Heavy crude oil to refiners. Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organization had previously tried to sell crude oil in the spot market at extremely low prices, but shipments could only be supplied on a loaded basis, meaning buyers had to arrange vessels to cross the Strait of Hormuz deep into the Persian Gulf to take delivery. In contrast, traders said TotalEnergies now offers services for collecting and delivering these crudes to customers across Asia.

Samsung's 4nm production capacity is nearly sold out, while some 8nm production lines are operating at full capacity and selective orders have already begun.
Golden Ten Data July 3|According to ChosunBiz, industry insiders revealed that Samsung Electronics' wafer foundry division has recently adjusted its supply strategy, prioritizing orders from existing customers and selectively accepting orders from new customers. Industry analysts pointed out that the explosive growth of the artificial intelligence market is fundamentally changing the demand structure for wafer foundry services. Previously, advanced manufacturing process demand was mainly focused on application processors (AP) for smartphones, but recently it has shifted to AI accelerator chips, application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) chips, and high-performance computing (HPC) chips. The 4nm process production capacity of Samsung's wafer foundry has basically sold out, and even next year's capacity has been sold out; some 8nm process capacity is also operating at nearly full load.
