- 14:00Chainlink launches its first native real-time oracle on MegaETHChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Chainlink has launched its first native real-time oracle on MegaETH, providing sub-millisecond market data to DeFi. This integration embeds Chainlink Data Streams into the core execution environment of MegaETH, allowing smart contracts to read prices "just in time," reducing redundant updates and oracle latency. MegaETH positions itself as a high-speed Ethereum L2, targeting throughput of 100,000 transactions per second, and is designed for low-latency scenarios such as perpetual contracts, prediction markets, and stablecoins. Previously, MegaETH and Ethena launched the stablecoin USDm to subsidize sequencer fees; its ecosystem derivatives platform Euphoria has completed a total of $7,500,000 in financing. Additionally, Chainlink disclosed that its oracle infrastructure currently secures approximately $90–100 billions in TVL and has transmitted about 18 billions messages.

- 13:41Fed's Barr Calls for Strengthened Stablecoin Regulation to Prevent Systemic RisksJinse Finance reported that Federal Reserve Governor Barr stated that more specific regulatory measures are needed to ensure the safe operation of stablecoins. On Thursday, Barr said: "To fully realize the potential of stablecoins, further safeguards must be established to protect households, businesses, and the entire financial system." Barr, who previously served as Vice Chair for Supervision at the Federal Reserve, welcomed the passage of the Genius Act earlier this year. The act establishes a regulatory framework for stablecoins, including the types of assets required to support their issuance. However, he also pointed out that regulators still need to address legal loopholes to strengthen market confidence in stablecoins and prevent companies and consumers from being impacted by "runs" or other instability events. The Genius Act stipulates that stablecoins must be backed by highly liquid assets, such as U.S. Treasury bonds.
