Tom Lee: The economy is expected to grow even stronger in 2025, thanks to AI and Wall Street's developments in blockchain.
On September 19, BitMine Chairman Tom Lee stated on CNBC that a Federal Reserve rate cut is not just about lowering interest rates... it also gives the green light for corporate expansion. "It is expected that the economy will grow even stronger in 2025 without inflation, thanks to artificial intelligence and Wall Street's development on blockchain."

Metaplanet CEO: If mNAV falls below 1x, buybacks will be prioritized; "short selling first and then covering with newly allotted shares" is illegal in Japan.
ChainCatcher news, Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich stated on X that if the stock price falls below 1x mNAV, continuing to issue new shares would be "mathematically value-destructive" and detrimental to the company's BTC yield. The company will prioritize evaluating options such as preferred shares and stock buybacks. He also mentioned that Japanese securities firms have clearly informed them that short selling first and then covering with newly allotted shares constitutes illegal behavior. He further emphasized that the Bitcoin purchasing window in September and October is due to compliance arrangements rather than a rigid timetable. In execution, the company will balance speed, liquidity, and the impact on BTC price, with the goal of maximizing BTC returns. Risk Warning

"The Big Short" Protagonist Eisman: The Federal Reserve Will Cut Rates by a Maximum Total of 100 Basis Points
Jinse Finance reported that Steve Eisman, who rose to fame for accurately predicting the 2008 US housing market crash, has recently become more optimistic about the market. After the Federal Reserve announced its interest rate cut decision on Wednesday, Eisman said in an interview with CNBC that he believes the current rate-cutting cycle by the Fed will not last long. "In the end, I think the Fed will cut rates by a total of at most 100 basis points, and then that's it," he said. He also added that he does not believe the latest round of monetary easing will have a disruptive impact on investors. Eisman believes that the Fed's recent and anticipated rate cuts are largely insignificant; in his view, this is merely "patching up" an essentially strong and healthy economy. This perspective suggests that investors and the public may be overestimating the power of the Fed's short-term actions while underestimating the underlying strength of the US economy.
