- 14:08Ripple confirms plans to apply for MiCA license to expand into the EU marketAccording to Jinse Finance, payment solutions provider Ripple has confirmed plans to apply for a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license in order to expand into the European Union market. A Ripple spokesperson stated that the company aims to "achieve MiCA compliance" as it recognizes "significant opportunities in the European market." This announcement comes as Ripple completed the registration of Ripple Payments Europe S.A. in Luxembourg at the end of April this year.
