Marathon produces 1853 BTC in December and plans to sell some of the bitcoins in the future
Marathon Digital, an encrypted mining company, produced 1,853 bitcoins in December, a month-on-month increase of 56%. The total annual production for 2023 is projected to be 12,852 BTC. The average monthly operational computing power reached 22.4 EH/s, with a month-on-month growth of 18%.
In addition, Marathon Digital disclosed that as of December 31st, the company held a total of 15,174 BTC. Marathon has chosen to sell 704 BTC or 38% of its monthly production to cover operating expenses. The company plans to sell some of its holdings in the future to support monthly operations and manage its finances for general corporate purposes.
