Reported that the Snapshot page shows that Uniswap has initiated a temperature check vote to lower the threshold for governance proposals to 1 million UNI, with a current support rate of 100%. The proposal stated that the initial threshold for Uniswap governance proposals was 10 million UNI, which was lowered to 2.5 million UNI two years ago, promoting the maturity of Uniswap governance and the participation of new representatives. Based on the current token situation, about 33 people have the ability to publish proposals on the chain, but many entities with sufficient voting power rarely participate in DAO discussions and voting. Therefore, in order to further promote the decision-making process and decentralization of Uniswap, this vote was initiated to lower the threshold from 2.5 million UNI to 1 million UNI.
