Polygon announces that AggLayer v1 mainnet will be launched soon
on February 13th, Polygon officially announced that the new aggregation layer solution AggLayer v1 mainnet is about to go live, with the aim of using zero-knowledge proofs to connect blockchains.
As previously reported by BlockBeats, the goal of AggLayer is to enable developers to connect blockchains to support unified liquidity. AggLayer will ensure the unified security of modular and holistic chains (including chains within the Polygon ecosystem).
AggLayer will be a key component of Polygon 2.0, the next generation iteration of the network. Unlike typical interoperability solutions, AggLayer will aggregate all connected chain's ZK proofs.
