Global X is about to launch a BTC futures strategy ETF with the symbol BTRN
Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart stated on social media that Global X's BTC Futures Strategy ETF will be launched on March 21, 2024 with the code BTRN. The Global X BTC Futures Strategy ETF aims to provide investment results that correspond to the price and performance (net of fees and expenses) of the CoinDesk Bitcoin Futures Index Futures Index ("Underlying Index"). According to the prospectus, the fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets plus borrowings for investment purposes (if any) in the constituent stocks of the CoinDesk Bitcoin Futures Index Futures Index and other securities determined by the advisor to have economic characteristics similar to the constituent stocks of the Underlying Index (such as US-listed Bitcoin Futures ETFs). In addition, in order to track the relevant index, the fund may invest in debt securities, cash and cash equivalents, or money market instruments such as repurchase agreements and money market funds that are not included in the relevant index.
