On March 26th, PANews reported that Craig Salm, the Chief Legal Officer of Grayscale, wrote on X platform: "Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about the Ethereum ETF. Personally, I believe that the ETF should be approved. But now I want to talk about how to view the issue of 'lack of SEC involvement' at this time: In the last few months before the approval of the Bitcoin ETF, Grayscale and other issuers received active and constructive participation from the SEC. We had thoughtful discussions about the creation/redemption process, cash vs. physical, AP, LP, custody, and other details. All of these issues have been resolved and are the same when comparing the spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. Therefore, in many ways, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has already been involved, while the content of the issuer's participation in this case is relatively less. Perhaps as the final approval/rejection date approaches at the end of May 2024, my feelings may be different, but at this point, I believe that the lack of involvement by regulatory agencies should not indicate any particular outcome."
