According to updated information on the website of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, the license application submitted by the virtual asset trading platform HKVAEX has been withdrawn. The relevant information shows that HKVAEX was removed from the list of applicants for virtual asset trading platforms on March 28, 2024, and the date of submitting the license application was January 4, 2024. The reason for removal was "withdrawn."
It is reported that the operator company name used by the virtual asset trading platform is "BX SERVICES LIMITED", and the Chinese name is not applicable. As of now, other Hong Kong virtual asset trading platform applicants whose applications have been withdrawn include Ammber (AMMBR (HK) LIMITED) and BitHarbour (BitHarbour (Hong Kong) Limited), and the applicant whose application has been returned is Meex (Meex Digital Securities Limited).
