Musk's xAI plans to spend nearly $10 billion to rent Oracle's cloud servers
According to a report from The Information citing sources, xAI, an artificial intelligence start-up founded by Elon Musk just a year ago, has been in talks with Oracle executives to rent cloud servers from the company for $1 billion over several years. This deal would make xAI one of Oracle's largest customers. Additionally, xAI is currently completing a round of equity financing worth $6 billion to help pay for the cost of cloud computing.
