Valour Launches First Yield-Bearing Bitcoin ETP in Nordic Markets
DeFi Technologies' subsidiary, Valour, has launched the world's first yield-bearing Bitcoin exchange-traded product (ETP), which offers investors exposure to BTC and a 5.65% yield, provided they are located in Nordic markets. The Valour BTC ETP charges a 1.9% management fee and generates yield by delegating Bitcoins to validators on the Core Chain through non-custodial, native Bitcoin staking. The launch of the Valour BTC ETP comes as more traditional financial institutions and investors seek exposure to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
