LayerZero Labs: The Sybil Self-Reporting Phase Has Ended, 803,093 Addresses Are Preliminarily Identified as Potential Sybils
LayerZero Labs posted on social media that the self-reporting phase for witches has ended. Each qualifying address will receive 15% of its expected token distribution, with the remaining 85% returned to eligible users. In the end, 803,093 addresses were identified as potential witch addresses. The team initially marked over 2 million addresses as potential witches, but later adopted stricter standards to reduce false positives.
The team will continue to refine and improve the method during the next two weeks of bounty hunting. The initial list will not be updated during this time and will not affect bounty hunters. The final witch list will be announced after the May 31st bounty hunting ends.
